The Book of Zen

The Book of Zen was created for a private Oriental Arts society. Using asymmetry, a restrained colour palette and careful use of white space, the layout is reflective of the subject matter.

A leaflet for the same society was made to accompany a lecture on Japanese art. The design is a scaled down replica of an original folding screen featured in the lecture, with text and images fitting on the reverse of each separate panel.
